The 13^th International Weather Festival will take place in Zagreb - Croatia.

Since the creation of the Festival, the whish of François Fandeux, creator and director of the Festival, has always been to innovate on meteorological and climatic problems in order to share the information with the largest number of people. To aware, educate, and inform are the key points of the Festival.
Once again, in Zagreb, the weather presenters from around the world will gather and enter in competition in order to win one of the 13^th edition’s trophies “ Les Météores»: which is the acknowledgement of a years work on their respective media. The Forecaster Price and the Scientific Price are presented by the World Meteorological Organisation, the Continent Price and the Report Price will also be in competition this year.  Conferences will bring together scientific personalities, institutions, companies, and forecasters from around the world and the round table presided by René Morin of the French Meteorological Society and creator of the European Meteorological Society, witch will end the conferences cycles. This year 120 medias, representing more than 50 countries will be in competition.

 

We will also be in the heart of Zagreb, with conferences and meetings organised for the general public in order to present all worldly meteorological aspects (science, televisions,…)

 

Concerning SOS CLIMATE launched in Montreal in 2001, we will follow our actions, both towards the public and the professionals.

 

During 4 days, specialists in meteorology but also in climatic subjects, with the help of weather presenters, will be present to meet with the general public in order to bring answers to their questions and provide them with the best information in terms of climatic and environmental problems that concerns us all.

 

“Climatic Changes, what future is to become for our planet»?

 

Exhibitions, conferences, TV Studio, to understand meteorology on TV…. these will be the animations proposed at the Mimara Museum in Zagreb for the General Public.
