EFJ i EJC pozivaju na seminare o pristupanju europskoj monetarnoj uniji

Nedavno uspostavljena suradnja izmeðu Udruženja europskih novinara i Europskog novinarskog centra (iz Maastrichta) urodila je organiziranjem nekoliko seminara za novinare iz Bugarske, Turske, Rumunjske i Hrvatske, tj. iz zemalja koje su na pragu da postanu èlanice EU).Molimo da nam se zaineteresirane kolge/kolegice jave: tajništvo HND-a (1) 48 28 333.

The EJC is organising a series of seminars to give journalists from different EU Member States ( not Brussels-based) more information about the Euro. The seminars will address the challenges facing the long-term success of the European Monetary Union, its continued budgetary consolidation and an overview of Member States’ economic policies. For journalists in the old member states the introduction of the Euro already seems a long time ago, but the current debate on new member countries joining brings the issue back to the fore.

These seminars are intended to give journalists the tools, background information and understanding of the economic and financial aspects, as well as the potential impact of the Euro introduction that will allow them to produce accurate and informed news about these issues.

The following seminars will take place:

·  29 August/1 September - Brussels/Frankfurt - This seminar is open to participants from Old EU member States

·  03/06 October - Brussels/Frankfurt - This seminar is open to participants from New EU member States and Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Croatia

·  06/08 November - Brussels - This seminar is open to participants from New EU member States and Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Croatia

·  04/08 December - Brussels/Frankfurt - This seminar is open to participants from Third Countries
